Kim received her Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology from Idaho State University and Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Idaho State University.

A little about me

Kim has extensive experience working in a variety of settings including public schools, private practice, out-patient clinic, and home health. Kim has experience in diagnosis and treatment of a variety of developmental disorders including speech and language delays, apraxia, autism, pragmatic language disorders, dyslexia, developmental delays, and cognitive impairments. She has a special interest and experience working with nonverbal children and adults obtaining funding for and using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems such as high and low tech communication devices. She enjoys working with preschool, school-age, as well as adult patients. Kim has training in SOS (Sequential-Oral-Sensory) approach to feeding therapy. She holds a current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology through the American Speech Language Association (ASHA), is a member of the Idaho Speech and Hearing Association (ISHA) and is licensed to practice speech-language pathology in the state of Idaho.

Sami Stephens

Sami earned her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education at Northeastern State University in Oklahoma, and then received her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology at Idaho State University in Pocatello. Working in a variety of settings, Sami prefers providing treatment in private practice, for Celebration Speech at Foothills Rehabilitation as well as diagnosing speech and language disorders in the public school setting. Sami is an advocate of early intervention to promote social, emotional, and academic success, and has cultivated a love in the area of Pediatrics (age range 18 months through elementary) in treating the following areas: Autism, Apraxia (childhood apraxia of speech), ADHD, Dysphasia/Swallowing disorders (including feeding aversion or picky eating, and sensory feeding disorders), Receptive and Expressive Language Delays, and Social/Pragmatic language delays. Sami is VitalStim certified, S.O.S Feeding trained, including S.O.S. Feeding in Autism training, and has extensive continuing education in pediatric language disorders, and related interests of treatment of pediatric Autism and feeding disorders. Sami holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence through the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA), where she is also an active member, and is licensed to practice in Idaho through the Idaho Bureau of Occupational Licenses.

A little about me

Samantha (Sami), was born and raised in northeastern Oklahoma, but has happily called Idaho Falls home for over two decades. She and her husband are raising two boys, and have greatly enjoyed watching them grow up and play sports, especially lacrosse, here in Eastern Idaho.

Melissa graduated from Idaho State University with a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology.

A little about me

She is a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist in the state of Idaho and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Melissa’s clinical experience includes working in private practice as well as in the public school setting. She has performed diagnosis and treatment in the areas of articulation/phonological disorders, receptive/expressive and pragmatic language, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), orofacial myofunctional disorders (OMD), dysphagia, oral sensory food aversions and fluency. She has developed a special interest in childhood apraxia of speech (CAS), fluency disorders, AAC and OMD’s. Currently, Melissa works Monday through Thursday at Celebration Speech, providing therapy and support to foster meaningful communication for her clients and their families.

Kristan received her Bachelor of Science in Communicative Disorders from Brigham Young University and Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from University of Wyoming.

Kristan has extensive experience working in a variety of settings including telehealth, private practice, school districts, out-patient clinic, and home health. Kristan has experience in diagnosis and treatment of voice disorders, apraxia, phonological/speech sound disorders, tongue thrust, pediatric swallowing disorders, autism, receptive and expressive language disorders, pragmatic language, dyslexia, traumatic brain injury, developmental delays, cognitive impairments, and alternative and assistive communication. She enjoys working with preschool, school-age, as well as adult patients. Kristan has certification in STTP (Stone Tongue Thrust Protocol) and training in SOS (sequential-oral-sensory) approach to feeding therapy. She holds a current Certificate of Clinical Competence through the American Speech Language Association (ASHA), is a member of the Idaho Speech and Hearing Association (ISHA) and is licensed to practice speech-language pathology in the state of Idaho.
